Happy New Year (2012) from CHE Projects

We at CHE Projects wish everyone a happy and healthy new year! For my part, I am very pleased to have met many dynamic and giving individuals over the last year. This wonderful group freely shares its time and expertise for a great cause.

Now that the rainy season is over, we focus our efforts on laying the foundation for the school. In simplest terms the concrete blocks allow the rest of the structure to be built solidly. However, when you think about it, this important step serves to lay a foundation of change in the lives of the children of San Lucas. Education is the key and it starts here.

Introducing….CHE Projects

Welcome to CHE Projects blog. “Cantabal Health and Education” is working with the community of San Lucas, Ixcan, Guatemala to build a middle school for students in Grades 7-9. Visit www.cheprojects.ca for more information.

CHE supporters, based in Hamilton, Ontario and the surrounding areas, and the community of San Lucas are working hard to turn dreams into reality. We welcome input and we welcome participation in our project. Watch for more details about how you can become involved.

Currently, our founder, Sheny Rodriguez, is in San Lucas. We look forward to highlighting reports from Sheny, here, at the CHE Projects blog.
